The last study your in 2022 took place on December 11-13th. Our guests were touroperators from Germany and Austria. The visit in Wrocław was part of a trip around Lower Silesia region.
The group arrived in the late afternoon at the HP Park Plaza Hotel, which is located in the picturesque area of the Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski), right on the bank of Odra River. After a quick check-in, we went for dinner to brewery – Browar Stu Mostów on Świdnicka Street 4. Our guests could try Polish craft beer and unique cuisine based on beer and inspired by its flavors. We ended the evening with a walk around the Christmas Market.
Winter weather and falling snow greeted everyone in Wrocław in the morning. We started our tour with the Four Denominations District, Stare Jatki and the Monument of Slaughtered Animals and the Museum of the University of Wrocław. After visiting the Aula Leopoldina and the Mathematical Tower the group was taken by Best City Tours heated melex cars for further sightseeing – this time the Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski). The warm wine served during the ride warmed up the participants and made the lunch served at Targowa Craft Beer and Food even more tasty. An interesting element of the day, full of attractions and places to visit, were gingerbread decorating workshops organized especially for our guests by Odra Centrum and a ride by a historic JELCZ 080 bus to Kolejkowo. At the end of the tour we planned our guests to move to a miniature world, depicting fantastic Lower Silesia and a fragrant town made of gingerbread. All these attractions are in Kolejkowo. We highly recommend visiting this place, especially around Christmas time.
We hope that the Wrocław Tourism Organisation has succeeded in presenting Wrocław as a ‘Must See’ no 1 city for tourists from Germany and Austria. The entire prepared program was rated very highly by touroperators from Germany and Austria. The city guide, Monika Trznadel, professionally led the whole group! 🙂
