The holiday season in Wrocław is always very rich in visits of journalists, bloggers and tour operators from Poland and abroad.
The Wrocław Tourism Organisation had the opportunity to co-organize five visits.
We started the month with the visit of the Italian journalist Enrico Marro writing for Il Sole 24 Ore. In addition to the rich tourist program, the journalist also had the opportunity to take part in a cultural event during a concert in the Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant. We received a short summary of this visit from Mr. Enrico “How to describe in two words such a city full of history, art, culture, music, good food (plus beer)? Friendly, open, cosmopolitan? Vibrant with life, projects and ideas? Marvelous Wrocław 🙂 Wow!”
Between August 7th and 10th, we hosted three journalists from German golf magazines in Lower Silesia. Thanks to cooperation with the Polish Tourist Organization, it was the second visit in 2023, after golfers from Scandinavia. Thanks to the visit before the start of the new season in 2024, a comprehensive offer of golf facilities along with the tourist offer of Wrocław will be presented on the German market. The cruise on the City Boats solar catamaran delighted journalists and the dinner at Browar Stu Mostów was very much appreciated J
During the next visit of German journalists, this time following the footsteps of UNESCO monuments in Lower Silesia, we visited the Centennial Hall and Ostrów Tumski, the Old Town with the District of Mutual Respect. The journalists spent one day in Wrocław.
A very large group visiting Wrocław are bloggers who publish their reports on social media channels and blogs. One of the bloggers who decided to get to know and share her feelings with a large group of fans on Instagram (190,000 followers) was Mariana Goncalves. On the last day of the month, journalists from the Czech public television visited the city. The theme of the prepared reportage was caravanning and visiting tourist attractions. The broadcast of the program is planned for the spring of next year. On the route of journalists there was, among others. Ostrów Tumski, Solny Square, Neon Gallery and the Oder landscape.
