At the beginning of 2024, a German journalist – Carsten Heinke – visited Wrocław to prepare an article for www.die-reisejournalisten.de. The visit was organized in cooperation with the Lower Silesian Tourism Organisation and the City of Wrocław. He was particularly interested in the topic of the vege restaurants in Wrocław. During his less than two-days stay in Wrocław, he visited the ZOO with Afrykarium, the Market Square, Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island), Nadodrze, and Jatki. He also met with the President of the Wrocław Tourism Organisation, Alfred Wagner. Cooperation with the journalist was established during a meeting at the Tourism Fair in Leipzig.
We organized another foreign visit together with the Foreign Center of the Polish Tourist Organization in Paris, which asked us to cooperate in the production of a reportage about neon signs. This topic interested the editors of “Le Figaro Magazine”. The magazine (weekly) « Le Figaro Magazine », formerly a weekly (weekend) supplement to the Le Figaro daily, and now sold separately, is published in 377,080 copies, which gives a reach of 1,340,000 readers. Journalist Valérie DEBRAS and photographer Eric MARTIN spent one day and one night in Wrocław. Their main place of visit was the Neon Gallery.
In cooperation with FINNAIR – the national airline of Finland, we co-organized the visit of two journalists from Finland – Rosanna Marila and Anneli Juutilainen – together with ‘Lower Silesian Tourist Organisation’ and the City of Wrocław. Rosanna’s article will be published in “Matka”, a leading travel magazine in Finland, whose readers are active people who like to travel in their free time. Readers are interested in discovering new things, eating in good restaurants and experiencing unforgettable experiences. Anneli’s article will be published in Seura, a widely read magazine aimed at slightly older people (40+). She is particularly interested in travel opportunities for active seniors. The journalists spent 4 days in Wrocław and 1 day in Lower Silesia – Książ and Świdnica.
