On June 17, 2025, the iconic Centennial Hall in Wrocław hosted a prestigious event – the official Michelin plaque ceremony, honoring 108 restaurants from across Poland. Wrocław made a remarkable debut, with 22 local restaurants earning their place in the world-renowned Michelin Guide.
22 Wrocław Restaurants Awarded Michelin Quality Plaques
The red Michelin plaques – a symbol of culinary excellence – were presented by representatives from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, the Polish Tourism Organisation, and the Polish Academy of Gastronomy. Representing the city was Jakub Mazur, Deputy Mayor of Wrocław, who emphasized the historical significance of the occasion.
This recognition marks not only a tribute to the chefs and teams behind each venue but also highlights the city’s dynamic culinary evolution. As noted by Maciej Dobrzyniecki, President of the Polish Academy of Gastronomy, Wrocław’s inclusion in the guide represents a record-breaking year of new Michelin entries.
