Kolejkowo has unveiled the latest edition of Gingerbread City, a unique holiday exhibition that has returned to Wrocław for the fifth time. This year’s installation was created entirely from scratch, featuring a new layout and hundreds of handcrafted details.

The exhibition presents an atmospheric gingerbread landscape filled with iconic miniature buildings, including the Wrocław Town Hall, a church, a mill, a railway station and a bakery. Visitors will also encounter fairy-tale scenes with characters such as Snow White, the Nutcracker and Baba Yaga. Every element has been shaped and decorated by hand, and the entire display was made using more than 1.6 tons of aromatic gingerbread dough.

The magical atmosphere of the exhibition is further enhanced by hand-modelled sugar-paste figures created by Jowita Woszczyńska, World and Polish Champion in cake decoration. Her detailed, individually painted figures bring a fairy-tale quality to the gingerbread world.

Gingerbread City also draws inspiration from the long-standing gingerbread tradition of Lower Silesia, which dates back to the 13th century. This year’s edition highlights both the craftsmanship of gingerbread making and the model-making precision characteristic of Kolejkowo.

Gingerbread City is open from 25 November 2025 to 28 February 2026 at Kolejkowo in Sky Tower.
