On Friday, 9 January, the gala of Wasza Turystyka magazine and portal took place, during which the list of the 100 most influential people in Polish tourism was announced. The event was one of the first nationwide tourism industry meetings this year, fostering the exchange of experience and the building of professional relationships within the sector.
We would like to thank the organisers of the event, in particular Marzena Markowska and the Wasza Turystyka team, for the professional organisation of the gala and their consistent efforts to integrate the tourism industry in Poland.
Among the award recipients were representatives connected with our region:
- Jakub Feiga – Director of the Lower Silesian Tourism Organisation,
- Karol Przywara – President of the Management Board of Wrocław Airport S.A.,
- Elżbieta Szumska – Founder and Owner of the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok,
- Agnieszka Szymerowska – President of the Association “Conferences and Congresses in Poland”,
- Alfred Wagner – President of the Wrocław Tourism Organisation.
Congratulations are also extended to representatives of metropolitan tourism organisations:
- Tomasz Koralewski – President of the Łódź Tourism Organisation,
- Jan Mazurczak – President of the Poznań Local Tourism Organisation,
- Paweł Moras – Director of the Warsaw Tourism Office,
- Grzegorz Soszyński – President of the Tourism Organisation of the Royal Capital City of Kraków,
- Łukasz Wysocki – President of the Gdańsk Tourism Organisation and Gdańsk Convention Bureau.
