Wrocław Tourist Lines WRO-TA will once again take to the streets starting in 2026 offering unforgettable journeys aboard historic trams and buses. This unique initiative is dedicated to both tourists and Wrocław residents who wish to explore the city in an unusual way – from the perspective of vintage public transport vehicles.

Discover Wrocław in retro style

Historic trams and buses have been present on Wrocław’s streets for years. Although they belong to different owners – such as the City of Wrocław or the Association of Public Transport Enthusiasts – they now jointly form the WRO-TA Tourist Lines project. Services run on weekends and public holidays, and you can ride using a city transport ticket or purchase one onboard from the conductor.

Practical information

  • MPK Wrocław urban fare applies.

  • Tickets can be purchased from the conductor on board.

  • WRO-TA is made possible thanks to the support of the City of Wrocław, in cooperation with the Association of Public Transport Enthusiasts and MPK Wrocław.

WRO-TA Wrocław Tourist Lines operate on weekends.

Wrocław has joined the activity planning network “Find Your Greatness” within the EU URBACT III program, which is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. The goal the city set out to achieve was to create a new tourist product based on historic tramway infrastructure owned both by the Municipality, as well as by non-government organizations.
