FINE ART GALLERY
FINE ART GALLERY Art of Ceramics is the only private gallery in Poland dedicated to one-of-a-kind ceramic art. Established in 2014, the gallery has focused exclusively on promoting this art form since 2017. It is located in Wrocław, home to the “heart of Polish ceramic art” – the Academy of Art and Design, with Poland’s only Faculty of Ceramics and Glass.

Fine Art Gallery Art of Ceramics works on an exclusive basis with a select group of leading Polish ceramic artists spanning several generations. They include:
– doyennes of Polish ceramic art: Professor Krystyna Cybińska and Irena Lipska-Zworska;
– artists of the middle generation: Bożena Sacharczuk, Jolanta Herma-Pasińska and Łukasz Karkoszka;
– artists of the younger generation: Janina Myronowa, Weronika Lucińska and Alicja Buławka-Fankindejska.
The gallery regards ceramic art as a distinctive art form that brings together multiple disciplines, setting it apart from other forms of contemporary creative expression. This interdisciplinary character is central to the gallery’s efforts to promote contemporary ceramic art and bring it to a wider audience.
The mystery inherent in ceramic processes, which brings artists close to the status of master alchemists, and the diversity of works combining sculpture and painting draw viewers into a world of surprising visual effects, varied themes and, above all, noble, timeless beauty. The sensual qualities of ceramic art harmonise beautifully with both modern and classical architecture, defining residential interiors and public spaces and lending them a distinctive character. It is a form of creative expression with virtually limitless possibilities.
An important part of FINE ART GALLERY’s mission is to inspire a desire to collect ceramic art. Through its activities, individual meetings and conversations at the gallery, extending beyond organised events, exhibition openings and tours led by curators and artists, it raises awareness of this unique art form and encourages the creation of private contemporary art collections, helping to shape the Polish art market.
