During last few days, the Globetrotter TV from the Great Britain has been visiting Wrocław as a part of the journey in the biggest cities in Poland. After all the visits, a few episodes will be produced and presented in the British Sky TV as a promotion of Polish cities and regions.
The film crew was in Wrocław in 23-26 July and during their visit it was possible to realize a lot of interesting program points, which will be visible in Wrocław episode. Besides tours with Wrocław city guides: Arkadiusz Förster and Beata Wers who presented all advantages of the Cathedral Island, Market Square and Four Denomination District, our visitors were welcomed in: Odra Center, Centennial Hall Complex, Kolejkowo, Browar Stu Mostów, Piwnica Świdnicka, and Four Domes Pavillon which is a part of National Museum in Wrocław. During the night walk in the city, it was possible to meet the lighthouse keeper, who is an integral part of the Cathedral Island area. In addition, during their stay, we presented a few different means of transport that can be used during visiting Wrocław such as the cruise on solar boat through the Oder River or historical tram.
The program showed the diversity of tourist attractions, restaurants and possible means of transport in Wrocław. Our guests were impressed by visited places, but also the whole atmosphere of the city. They also underlined that they will come back to the city with a huge pleasure, for example during the Christmas market.
The TV emission is planned during the winter, we will inform about the details.
