A monumental day for Wrocław’s culinary scene! After an exhilarating competition filled with creative flavors and exceptional techniques, we now know the winner of the prestigious Culinary Grand Prix of Wrocław 2024. The title of “Culinary Master of the Grand Prix of Wrocław 2024” was awarded to Łukasz Budzik, representing Między Mostami – restaurant and tasting room MOST. For this talented chef, it is a significant distinction and the beginning of a new adventure — the grand prize is a two-week internship at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Sweden, honored with both a red and green Michelin star.

The triumph of Łukasz Budzik and culinary inspirations in Stockholm

Łukasz Budzik, known for his unconventional approach to flavors and attention to detail, captivated the judges with his signature dishes. During his internship at the Michelin-starred restaurant in Stockholm, he will have the opportunity to deepen his skills and gain new international inspirations, which will undoubtedly enrich the menu at Między Mostami. This recognition is also a testament to the high caliber of Wrocław’s culinary scene.

The other finalists: exceptional talents of Wrocław’s cuisine

The competition attracted exceptionally talented participants, and the level of rivalry was remarkably close. Second place was awarded to Yassin Bugajny of restaurant Wierzbowa 15, who impressed the judges with his finesse and unique interpretations of Polish ingredients. Third place went to Wojtek Janowicz of CAMPO Modern Grill, who proved that grilling can be an art at the highest level. A special mention also went to Volodymyr Savczenko of restaurant Tarasowa – Hala Stulecia, whose creative approach to regional products and courage in experimenting won the judges’ admiration.
