
Agnieszka Szymerowska
A graduate in management with a specialization in human capital management and managerial interpersonal skills from the Wrocław University of Economics. She also completed sociology studies at the University of Wrocław.
From 2010 to 2023, she was associated with the Convention Bureau – Wrocław Foundation, serving as its president from May 2019 to February 2023. Throughout her long-standing tenure at the Foundation, she was responsible for implementing tasks and projects related to the development of business and congress tourism in Wrocław as a local tourism product. In 2021, she was appointed president of the board of one of the youngest local tourism organizations in Poland, the Wrocław Tourism Organization.
She was involved in organizing events such as the Wrocław Global Forum (2010–2016), The World Games 2017 in Wrocław, ECPR 2019, the hybrid 43rd European Congress of Cytology 2021, and many others. She actively maintains relationships with the academic community and has recruited new members to the Wrocław Congress Ambassadors Club.
A member of the Chapter of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Program from 2020 to 2023, she currently serves as Secretary of the AKP Program, co-organized with the Polish Tourism Organization. She is also a board member of the Conferences and Congresses in Poland Association. She was recognized as the Ambassador of the Women’s Year in Tourism. Since February 2023, she has been the director of the office of the Conferences and Congresses in Poland Association.
A rowing judge, she has been involved in this sport for many years.
