The historic 19th-century Monastery building in Wrocław’s Karłowice district has been restored and adapted by us into a unique place offering modern accommodation functions. The interior renovation was carried out with particular care for the original appearance and shape of the interiors and under the supervision of a heritage conservator. In the building, we preserved as many original materials and finishing elements as possible, such as bricks, tiles, wooden stairs, sculptures, and plasters. The interiors are also characterized by vaults and large, magnificent windows overlooking the monastery park. Inside, there is a restaurant, café, event rooms, bar, bookstore, and the “ToMy” atelier of the L. Grochowska Foundation. In the left wing of the Monastery, the Franciscan sisters still live and work. Their pleasant presence partly shapes the character of this place. The sisters own a beautiful monastery chapel with colorful stained glass windows and frescoes. It is an ideal place for a wedding ceremony. The surroundings of the private park with old trees, the café on the front terraces of the building, and the restaurant patio on the park side make it a perfect place to relax after work during the week as well as for private weekend leisure. The convenient location of the facility guarantees quick communication with the most important points of the city.
Arche Monastery Wrocław is a remarkable facility built in a restored 19th-century monastery complex. We are rediscovering history and bringing architectural gems back to life, giving them a modern, contemporary purpose. This unique, imposing red brick building houses 86 comfortable rooms, a restaurant with a patio, a café, and a bar. The property also houses Atelier toMy, a beautiful monastery chapel, and a bookstore. The interiors retain their original atmosphere, making a stay at Arche Monastery a special experience where modernity meets history. Each room is different. Each has its own unique atmosphere. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, if you’re looking for a place that inspires you, you’ve come to the right place. The project is unique in Europe and the world in many respects. The Franciscan Sisters still live and work in the left wing of the monastery. The investment was designed to preserve what’s already there as much as possible. Without embellishment or reinvention, fragments of colorful plaster were intentionally left on the stairwell walls, and the stone sculptures were refreshed and restored to their original locations.
Event Sales
We offer two event rooms located on the ground floor of the monastery building, in the former chapter house and scriptorium, and one small room (the so-called Board Room) for 12 people, as defined in the detailed database, which includes the Linden Park. The ability to organize packages and parking in Wrocław is a real convenience when organizing this type of event.
Conference Sales in Wrocław
The largest room (Franciscan Hall) measures 78m2 and can accommodate 40 people or a conference for 60 people (theater style). All rooms have windows and access to natural light. Adjacent to the rooms are a foyer and corridors with characteristic
19th-century arched vaults and brick walls.
Outdoor Business Meetings
Seasonally, an open interior patio is also available, directly overlooking the restaurants. This is one of the most charming places in Wrocław, perfect for a summer afternoon or evening business meeting, with fine dining, architecture, and history. The patio seats up to 60 guests and is connected by wide, long stairs to a private park, a place to relax surrounded by greenery.

In our seasonal menus, we don’t limit ourselves to a single style or cuisine, but focus on the best ingredients currently available. We grow some of our own herbs and vegetables in the monastery garden. For guests staying in Wrocław for longer periods, additional long-stay apartments have been created in three historic buildings: Marianum, Stara Pralnia, and Josef Haus. There are comfortable studios, apartments, and large apartments, including duplexes with gardens. We have given the historic 19th-century interiors a modern living space, while preserving the unique atmosphere of one of Wrocław’s most valuable historical monuments. We have restored and highlighted original finishing elements, such as brick walls, wooden stairs, and window frames, and combined them with contemporary furnishings.
