La Maddalena
La Maddalena Restaurant is located on the Odra Boulevards, in the first building in Wrocław constructed directly on the Odra River. From the year-round terrace situated directly above the river’s surface, there is an outstanding view of illuminated building of the University of Wrocław, one of the most beautiful monuments in Wrocław.
The restaurant specializes in wild fish and seafood. The menu is enriched with a tasting menu, a vegan menu, and meats from local suppliers. In the kitchen, high-quality products are of utmost importance.
The restaurant is renowned for its extraordinary hospitality and guest service.
In 2021, at a special gala in New York, La Maddalena was recognized as one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world and received the Muse Design Award.
The jury was particularly impressed by the custom-made wall reliefs in cool, platinum silver tones applied using a leafing technique, the oak floor fired with flames, and the exceptional attention to detail in the decor.
Members of the jury were also taken with the VIP room with a separate entrance, as well as the beautiful terrace of the restaurant suspended directly above the surface of the Odra River, offering a view of the building of the University of Wrocław. The chairs, tables, and glass wine cabinets were designed and crafted by local artisans.
