PTTK

PTTK (The Polish Tourists and Country Lovers’s Society) develops and popularizes sightseeing and qualified tourism in all its forms. The most popular disciplines of qualified tourism are: mountain tourism, hiking, kayaking, sailing, cycling, motorbike and cross-skiing.

The Society has developed and popularized a sightseeing tourism program related to getting to know the Homeland, protecting nature, landscape and monuments.

The Wroclaw Division of PTTK is one of the oldest Divisions in Lower Silesia and also one of the largest in Poland. It was established in 1952 and currently has 747 members (07/11/2023) practicing all types of tourism.

The Wroclaw Division of PTTK offers services to domestic and foreign tourists coming to Wroclaw, especially guided walks around Wroclaw.

The Division’s volunteer staff, qualified as leaders and instructors in various tourism and sightseeing disciplines, organizes a number of attractive tourist events: mountain trekking, sightseeing, cross-skiing, sailing, kayaking, etc.

The Division has three tourist houses (two in the Ślęża Massif and one on Kopa Biskupia in the Opawskie Mountains), a camping site in Otmuchów-Sarnowice on Lake Otmuchowskie, and a canoeing and sailing marina in Wroclaw. The Wrocław Division of PTTK maintains a network of tourist trails in the Ślęża Massif (approx. 130 km) and around Wroclaw (approx. 1,100 km).
