On May 6, 2025, the 27th edition of the MADE FOR Restaurant conference was held at the Wrocław Congress Center by the Centennial Hall under the theme “FAST GROWING – Cross The Borders”. The event brought together restaurateurs, chefs, industry experts, and business partners from across Poland and abroad.
The Wrocław Tourism Organization was one of the organizational partners of the event, alongside the City of Wrocław. Our involvement reflects our commitment to supporting the growth of the local restaurant scene and promoting Wrocław as a key destination on Poland’s culinary map.
A Hospitality Industry Without Borders
The conference focused on how to run and grow a hospitality business amid shifting realities – including migration, politics, labor markets, technology, and economics. During the opening, Wrocław Mayor Jacek Sutryk announced that the city may soon receive its first Michelin star – a statement met with enthusiasm from the audience.
A key part of the event was the FOR Dating session – a series of themed roundtable discussions. Alfred Wagner, President of the Wrocław Tourism Organization, led a table dedicated to the role of tourism organizations in marketing gastronomy and creating regional culinary routes. He was joined by representatives of prominent Wrocław restaurants.
Culinary Showcase and Networking
In the evening culinary show, chefs from Wrocław restaurants created dishes using local ingredients, blending tradition with modern culinary techniques. Participants included teams from BUNGE/Altus Palace, Tarasowa, CRAFT, Dinette, and FABELEI.
The conference concluded with an After Party at Przystań&Marina Restaurant.
Thank You for Joining Us
