On January 18-21, 2024, we represented Wrocław at the MATKA tourism fair in Helsinki.
This event, which was a kind of celebration of the tourism industry attracted thousands of visitors from all over the world. Together with the Lower Silesian Tourist Organization, the City of Wrocław and the Wrocław Airport, at the Polish national stand under the wings of the Polish Tourist Organization we presented our beautiful destination and announced a new convenient air connection.
From April this year, traveling from Helsinki to Wrocław will become even easier and faster. Finnair offers daily flights in the morning or afternoon, tailored to various traveler preferences. In just 2 hours and 5 minutes, you will find yourself in the heart of Lower Silesia, ready to discover the charms of Wrocław and its surroundings.
During the MATKA fair in Helsinki, we had the opportunity to experience enormous interest in our region. The new direct connection from Helsinki to Wrocław launched by the renowned carrier Finnair is already very popular among potential travelers from Finland. Thanks to the fair we managed to establish valuable business contacts, attract the attention of travel enthusiasts and initiate a new chapter in tourism cooperation between Poland and Finland.
The new air connection from Helsinki to Wrocław is a step forward in developing the tourist potential of Lower Silesia. We are sure that this convenient flight route will attract many travelers from Finland who want to discover the charms of our beautiful city.
From frosty Finland we immediately moved to warm Madrid for FITUR 2024, which took place on January 24-28, 2024.
The fair featured 152 countries and over 8,000 industry exhibitors.
The Madrid International Tourism Fair is the third most important event of this type in the world!
Our stand attracted great interest. We were able to exchange experience with other presenting countries. Together with the City of Wrocław and Hydropolis we invited our guests at the stand to choose Wrocław as the best choice for a holiday or city break.
After Madrid and Helsinki we checked in at the International Tourism Fair in Zurich.
The FESPO fair at Messe Zürich has over 25,000 m2 of exhibition space in which, as part of cooperation with the Polish Tourist Organization together with Polish cities and regions. We presented Wrocław.
We put a lot of work and commitment to present Wrocław from its best side.
