On Saturday, June 15, 2024, a unique “Polský den v zahradách” took place in the picturesque gardens of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Prague. This annual event attracts an increasing number of participants each year.

This year’s Polish Day was filled with various attractions. In the embassy gardens you could visit regions from all over Poland.

“We have a combination of regions that are traditionally here because they are geographically closest: Lower Silesia, Opole, Zielona Góra, as well as slightly more distant: Rzeszów or Tarnów regions. This combination is a bull’s eye,” said the Polish ambassador in Prague, Mateusz Gniazdowski.

He emphasized that the event had been prepared for a long time and was promoted, among others, by: using posters in Prague metro stations.

The Wrocław Tourism Organisation took part together with: ZOO Wrocław, Centrum Historii Zajezdnia, Kolejkowo, Hydropolis, The National Museum in Wrocław, Pierniki Wrocławskie, Rodzinna Manufaktura, Pan Tadeusz Museum and the Department of City and Tourism Promotion.

Czech tourists are in second place among foreign visitors to our beautiful city, so we have prepared special materials in Czech, which were very popular!

The event was organized by the Polish Institute in Prague and the Embassy, and supported by the Polish Tourism Organization, Orlen and Allegro.

At the end of the day, the evening in the garden was honored by the performance of the band Raz, Dwa, Trzy!
