On June 29 – July 5, 2023, at the invitation of the Department of Promotion and Tourism of the City of Wrocław, in cooperation with the Wrocław Tourism Organisation and the Lower Silesian Tourist Organization, Renia Younes – STAR FM UAE radio presenter from the United Arab Emirates, visited Wrocław.
The purpose of the visit was to show the listeners and viewers of Radio Star FM UAE the most beautiful and interesting places in Wrocław and Lower Silesia.
After a long journey from Dubai, the journalist checked into the Altus Palace Hotel, which is located in the historic building of the former Leipziger Palace, in the vicinity of the beautiful Old Town Garden, close to the city’s greatest attractions – the Old Market Square, the Wrocław Opera, the Puppet Theater and Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island). Since the sightseeing schedule was very dynamic, right after lunch at the hotel’s Wierzbowa 15 Restaurant, together with the Guide Beata Wers, they set out to explore the city. The main topic was our fantastic DWARVES. After finding the TOP leaders of Dwarves in the city center, the ladies visited the Kolejkowo. The eventful day ended with a dinner in one of the oldest restaurants in Europe, in Piwnica Świdnicka (Świdnicka Cellar).
The next day in Wrocław began with a visit to the Zoo and Africarium and the Centennial Hall. The Multimedia Fountain Show and the Japanese Garden made a great impression on the journalist. The last attraction of the day, after dinner at the Lwia Brama Restaurant, was visiting Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island) and looking for the LIGHT keeper.
On the last day in Wrocław, before leaving for the south of Lower Silesia, we planned a visit to Hydropolis and a cruise on the Oder River on a solar catamaran with City Boats. The journalist found out how important the Oder River is for Wrocław and how important it is to protect it. Lunch at La Maddalena Restaurant allowed you to enjoy the delicious cuisine and the view of the Oder. The culmination of the visit to Wrocław was a dinner at the Acquario Restaurant, located on the sixth floor of the Monopol Hotel. Thanks to the glass walls, the restaurant shows an extraordinary panorama of historical Wrocław.
During her visit to Lower Silesia, the journalist visited, among others: the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok, the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki Zdrój and wandered with a guide around Błędne Skały and Szczeliniec.
Before flying to Dubai, the journalist spent the last night at the Arche Hotel Wrocław.
