We would like to invite you to the fifth anniversary edition of Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival!
An initiative of the Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant and the City Council of the Department of Culture of the City of Wrocław – aimed at promoting jazz in the urban space. As part of the Festival, which takes place from July 1 to 31 – we invite you to jazz concerts at various locations in Wrocław:
-on Mondays, we will meet on the city beaches,
ZaZoo Beach Bar, OpatoVice Beach Bar, Marina Kleczków, Polna Chillout Bar
–Tuesdays are for communication and transport,
Gustaw – historical tram, The Depot History Centre in Wrocław (CH Zajezdnia) and Gustaw, Airport, Wratislavia ship
-Wednesdays are for the most beautiful rooftops in Wrocław,
Dominikańska shopping center (Galeria Dominikańska), Wroclavia, Concordia Design, Save The World Real Estates
-on Thursdays we will visit Wrocław hotels,
The Bridge M Gallery, Topacz Castle/Polana, Puro Hotel Old Town, Q Hotel Bielany
-Fridays are designed for,
Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant
-Saturdays are for urban parks,
Staromiejski Park / Puppet Theatre, South Park, Babie Lato Partynice, Castle Leśnica, The Roundabout Stop
– Sundays are dedicated to concerts on Daliowa Island

For all the people who make Vertigo: the letter, Roman numeral, or simply the sign – V – has great significance. Often, when talking or writing about Vertigo we use the V sign for short. Going further into the inner zone of our operations, Vertigo’s main offices are located on the fifth floor, the Roman V. So, as you can see for yourself, the symbol V, is very close to us. Therefore, we were very happy when the year 2022 arrived, because we knew very well – counting beforehand – that this is the year that the 5th edition of the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival will fall. This is a small anniversary, which – we will not hide – we are looking forward to and have been waiting for it.
To be honest, while building the first edition of the Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival, we firmly believed in the cyclical nature and possibility of subsequent realizations of our festival. We believed deeply, but there were moments of doubt – especially during the third and fourth editions of the festival, when every concert was in question due to COVID. About the corona virus, we have already written a lot – during the previously mentioned editions, so let the fifth edition (we hope and again deeply believe) go already under the sign of V – without further memories of those worse times. To quote our Nobel laureate Olga Tokarczuk – “God created man with eyes in front and not in the back of his head, which means that man is to be concerned with what will be, not with what was in the past” and let this be our watchword for the anniversary Vertigo Summer Jazz Festival.
During the fifth edition of VSJF, you will be able to meet the best jazz musicians from Wrocław and also from other cities in Poland. Visit new places in Wroclaw and, above all, have a nice time enjoying jazz music.
