Founded in 1966 by Andrzej Markowski as an oratorio and cantata festival, Wratislavia Cantans still focuses primarily on presenting the beauty of the human voice. Realized by the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw, it is synonymous with the highest artistic and organizational quality. Concerts by classical music stars attract thousands of music lovers every year to the acoustically superb halls of the NFM and the historic interiors of Wroclaw and several cities of Lower Silesia.

The title of this year’s edition – Mother Nature – was inspired by Joseph Haydn’s Seasons. During the festival, we will look at how people have understood nature since the dawn of time, how they relate to it and how they perceive their relationship with it.
