The exhibition “Dream of Wild Birds” by Modesta Gorol invites visitors into an extraordinary artistic universe, where traditional printmaking meets new media and where imagination knows no bounds. The artist blends classic graphic techniques with painting, music and VR technology, creating a multidimensional sensory experience.
The exhibition presents Gorol’s latest works inspired by botanical gardens. Using techniques such as etching, aquatint and watercolour, she constructs intricate compositions full of detail and symbolism. Each piece opens a separate narrative world, encouraging viewers to follow hidden paths, textures and meanings. These visual journeys often lead to concealed gateways — transitions between works that form a broader artistic multiverse.
A key part of the exhibition is the “Gardens” series, celebrating the richness of nature and biodiversity. Inspired by real botanical gardens across Europe, each graphic piece becomes an archive of stories, emotions and observations gathered from gardeners and plant caretakers.
The opening evening will be accompanied by a live piano performance by Modesta Gorol, highlighting her multidisciplinary artistic practice. Visitors will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a music-visual VR world prepared specially for the exhibition.
