This year’s Christmas Market started on November 24 and will last until January 7, 2024. As every year, tour operators and journalists from all over the world come to us for this occasion.
The autumn-winter visits began with a pair of Czech journalists who represented the driver portal www.portalridice.cz . They spent almost three very intense days in Wrocław. Together with their guide, they visited almost all the most important and worth seeing places in Wrocław. Journalists refueled their energy at, among others, the Piwnica Świdnicka Restaurant and Pierogarnia Stary Młyn, which serves dishes prepared according to traditional recipes and based on the best local ingredients.
Two journalists from sunny Italy ended their November visits. Wrocław welcomed them covered with snow, which aroused a lot of emotions and satisfaction among the ladies J . The journalists represented two portals: www.quotidiano.net and www.travelglobe.it. The Four Domes Pavilion and the Centennial Hall with its Christmas Illumination were particularly popular. The journalists had the opportunity to take part in the Burlesque Dance & Live Band Show at Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant.
At the beginning of December, we were visited by a journalist from Hungary, Emese Dudics. She started her walk around Wrocław with a visit to the Panorama of the battle of Racławice. The work of Jan Styka and Wojciech Kossak is one of the three most frequently visited attractions in Wrocław. The sightseeing plan also includes another top attraction: the Wrocław ZOO and the Africarium. The journalist also learned about local flavors prepared by La Maddalena Restaurant and Spiż Wrocław.
The last three visits this year took place almost at the same time. Our guests were journalists and tour operators of the largest travel agencies from Belgium and France – 16 people, tour operators from Croatia – 14 people and one journalist from Germany. The guests visited attractions such as: Hydropolis, Kolejkowo, Centennial Hall, ZOO Wrocław, Ostrów Tumski. They tasted our local dishes at Browar Stu Mostów on Świdnicka Street, at the Art Hotel Restaurant, at the Piwnica Świdnicka Restaurant and at the Forum Kulinarne Restaurant.
During each visit, the Christmas Market was a must-see and taste. We hope that the prepared materials and collected information will encourage more guests to visit our beautiful Wrocław!
The visits were co-organized with the City of Wrocław, Convention Bureau – Wrocław, the Polish Tourist Organisation together with the Foreign Centers of the Polish Tourist Organisation and the Lower Silesian Tourist Organisation.
