Join us on a journey through the most remarkable post-war buildings of Wrocław.
Wrocław is widely known for its invaluable historic monuments dating back centuries. It is also home to the only Museum of Architecture in Poland. Yet the city that emerged after 1945 has its own architectural stories to tell.
As part of the “Pearls of Architecture” project, we have prepared descriptions of thirty fascinating buildings. Among them are selected winners of the architectural competitions “Mister Wrocław” (launched in 1961) and “Beautiful Wrocław” (held since 2006). Our route also includes some lesser-known yet equally intriguing structures – pioneering, aesthetically provocative and sometimes technologically avant-garde.
Thanks to the interactive website and printed map, every visitor, regardless of age or experience, can explore the city independently.
