Krupa Art Foundation is a new, independent contemporary art institution established by Sylwia and Piotr Krupa – Wrocław-based businesspeople and art collectors.

The foundation is a non-profit organisation that proposes a new model for the functioning of cultural institutions in Poland, based primarily on private patronage.

The mission of Krupa Art Foundation is to share art with a wide audience. The Foundation’s programme focuses on promoting contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on the work of artists from Central and Eastern Europe.

Krupa Art Foundation (KAF) is an independent contemporary art institution founded by Sylwia and Piotr Krupa — Wrocław-based entrepreneurs and art collectors.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization and proposes a model of cultural institution operation that is new in the Polish context, based primarily on private patronage.

The mission of Krupa Art Foundation is to share art with a broad audience. Its program focuses on the promotion of contemporary art, with particular emphasis on the work of artists from Central and Eastern Europe.

KAF’s main headquarters is located in a historic townhouse on Wrocław’s Market Square and spans three floors, comprising several exhibition spaces, an immersive room dedicated to multimedia projects, a space for children, a design and art bookshop, and a café.

KAF presents both exhibitions of current art by Polish and international artists, as well as selected works from the private collection of Sylwia and Piotr Krupa, including pieces by outstanding Polish artists of the 20th and 21st centuries.

The Foundation’s activities aim to:
• create a safe space for artistic debate,
• foster dialogue among artists,
• expand inter-institutional cooperation.

In addition to exhibitions, KAF runs a wide range of educational activities carried out in cooperation with partner institutions in Poland and abroad, including:
• workshops, meetings, and lectures,
• multidisciplinary projects,
• artistic programs.
