WRO-TA Wrocław Tourist Lines have started their operating season this year in Spring. It’s an opportunity to see the city while riding historic vehicles, possible with using an ordinary public transportation ticket or buying one from the ticket inspector. Old trams and buses can be seen on the streets of Wrocław for many years already. Even though they have several different owners, (such as The Commune of Wrocław, Towarzystwo Miłośników Wrocławia / Wroclaw Enthusiasts Society, or the Urban Transport Enthusiasts Club), they will now all be gathered under the common name of WRO-TA Wrocław Tourist Lines.  WRO-TA is directed both to tourists as well as to Wrocław’s inhabitants who wish to see the city from a less ordinary and more attractive perspective. To see its greatest architecture sights and experience its nature at the same time (Oder riverbed, which can be seen from numerous bridges on the route; city parks, including Szczytnicki and Staromiejski; walkway along the Old Town Promenade), as well as visit other attractions (ZOO, Hydropolis, The Depot History Centre). An important part of WRO-TA Wrocław Tourist Lines is its infrastructure which now plays social and cultural roles, such as TheCenter for Young Culture and Local Initiatives CZASOPRZESTRZEŃ in Zajezdnia Dąbie or The Depot History Centre.

WRO-TA Wrocław Tourist Lines operate on weekends.

Wrocław has joined the activity planning network “Find Your Greatness” within the EU URBACT III program, which is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. The goal the city set out to achieve was to create a new tourist product based on historic tramway infrastructure owned both by the Municipality, as well as by non-government organizations.

Up-to-date information can be found on the operators’ website at all times (www.kstm.pl).
