From 3 to 13 September 2026, Wrocław will once again resonate with the music of one of the city’s most important festivals. This year’s 61st Wratislavia Cantans International Festival will be held under the theme “The Shadow Line”. The Wrocław Tourism Organisation is a partner of the event.

The festival programme features oratorio, cantata, early and contemporary music performed by acclaimed artists and ensembles from Poland and abroad. Over eleven days, audiences will have the opportunity to attend events showcasing a variety of musical periods, styles and traditions.

One of the most anticipated highlights of this year’s programme is the “Herr Jesu” concert, performed by the Wrocław Baroque Ensemble under the direction of Andrzej Kosendiak and featuring Giovanni Antonini. Interest in the event was so high that, after tickets sold out, the concert was moved to the ORLEN Main Hall of the National Forum of Music. It will take place on 12 September at 7:00 p.m.

Wratislavia Cantans has long been an important part of Wrocław’s cultural calendar, attracting music lovers from Poland and abroad. This year’s edition will offer another opportunity to experience vocal and instrumental music performed by renowned artists.
