Magdalena Abakanowicz is an outstanding artist who is recognized not only domestically, but also internationally, which is best proven by the realization of an exhibition at London’s Tate Modern museum.
The exhibition features some of the artist’s most characteristic works, i.e. abacanas, which are her trademark. In addition, the artist’s drawings are presented.
Director of the National Museum in Wrocław Piotr Oszczanowski also attended the opening of the exhibition. In a branch of the National Museum in Wrocław – the Four Domes Pavilion, a stunning number of works by Magdalena Abakanowicz were exhibited.
The exhibition at London’s Tate Modern is scheduled to run until May 21, 2023.
