We took part in the international travel trade fair BIT – Borsa Internazionale del Turismo. In this year’s edition, Poland held the status of Partner Destination, which increased the visibility of the national offer.
We promoted Wrocław at the Polish National Stand coordinated by the Polish Tourism Organisation | ZOPOT in Rome, together with the Lower Silesian Tourism Organisation, the Lower Silesia region, the City of Wrocław, Wrocław Airport and the Manufaktura in Bolesławiec. Our presence formed part of a joint regional presentation highlighting the tourism potential of Lower Silesia.
During the fair, we focused on promoting Wrocław as a city break destination. In meetings with travel industry representatives, we emphasized direct air connections from Italy, the city’s compact layout, its historic city centre, year-round cultural offer, and well-developed accommodation and gastronomy infrastructure. We also positioned Wrocław as a natural gateway to exploring Lower Silesia.
Participation in BIT 2026 was another activity carried out on the Italian market aimed at strengthening Wrocław’s presence in the city tourism segment and increasing inbound travel.
